Harbor Street Bakery
A family-owned bakery and café on Genesee Street serving Waukegan mornings for over a decade.
Maria Delgado opened Harbor Street Bakery with two employees and a single deck oven. Today the bakery supplies twelve area restaurants and employs eighteen people, most of them from within a mile of the storefront.
The Chamber connected the bakery to a wholesale buyer at a Lakefront Business Breakfast and helped navigate the facade grant that paid for its 2023 storefront renovation.
